What are we here for.......?

In trying to decide whether to adopt again or not, Blake and I had alot of discussion about life and what we want to accomplish in this short time on earth. Our main reason for being hesitant about a second adoption is of course the money involved....an International or Domestic adoption can run anywhere from $10,000 - $30,000. Luckily, we have found a great agency thta is very ethical and tries to make adoption as affordable as possible. They have a sliding scale agency fee based on your income and the country fee is comparatively a little lower than most. With travel and everything this Ethiopian adoption will probably be about $12K - $13K.....if you ask me, that is well worth giving a child a forever family. This time around we are hoping to adopt a waiting child.....a child that waits in an orphanage and wonders when it will be his/her turn to get a family. Blake and I are not wealthy people by society's standards, but we are rich with love and hope......and those are things that we have to give. Those are the things that we want to share with our children and the world.....
Be the change you want to see in the world.”
Mahatma Gandhi quote

This is one of my favorite quotes, because it reminds me of why I am here....and what I need to do.......

Which agency did you go with this time around? Congratulations on your decision to adopt again!

Yeah! I'm so glad you are adopting again! I know we have never met but I remember reading that you were thinking about it. We are also adopting a second time and don't make a lot of money. But we know God will provide some how. Congrats:)
