I have been thinking about it alot lately and I wish we could move to another town, even another state maybe..... I want to live somewhere bigger, somewhere more diverse and exciting.....somewhere with alot of culture... Any suggestions?
We love it here in Grand Rapids, MI! We live in the city and there is a lot of diversity in our neighborhood, which is one reason we moved here from a predominatly white suburban area. Our daughter's school has many countries represented, even a few kids in her class from Tanzania that are still learning English.
Our area isn't all that diverse, unfortunately, but our family is helping that a little! :-) Until the girls are older, we won't move away though, since staying close to their mom is a priority for us. Plus we really like our property (and are starting to enjoy the house as we make it our own...) We're relatively close to more diverse areas though, and make sure we go there quite frequently.
The ATL, baby! Ridiculously diverse, low cost of living and fabulous weather. It is referred to as the Big Apple of the South and has everything you can imagine to offer. I've lived here for only five years but I'm not moving away. Evah!
I'm glad you mentioned this- ever since you posted about the area you live in, I've been concerned. I think that it's a wonderful idea to move to a more diverse area. LA is diverse, but has it's obvious downsides too. Good luck!

I would love to move somewhere more cultural, too. We are stuck here though until we move to Africa.
I always thought Atlanta had a lot of culture.
