Oh, the paperwork........
Well, we have to REDO our Power of Attorney and have it notarized, county authenticated, State sealed, US Embassy authenticated, and authenticated at the Ethiopian Embassy............Yeesh!!!!!!!!! I got really mad at first, I was just upset and frustrated, and scared that this would delay our court date. Also, as many of you know if you read my blog I am severely lacking in the funds department and I am scrimping and saving and at times almost begging for the money for my travel.......and now we have to pay about another $200 to get this one document redone so that it read "Joshua Bergeron" instead of "Joshua Blake Bergeron"......haven't they heard of white out??????????? Seriously, I am going to try to stay calm.......take a day off of work next week, get the document notarized, drive to the court house to get it county authenticated, drive 2 hours to Nashville to get it State sealed......find a UPS store and send this document along with 3 checks to the Assistant Stork and hope that it makes it thru and back to Ethiopia very fast.

Yep, paperwork is awful. Consider that we have to carry that stupid thing around DC ourselves on Monday and that's not even guaranteed to fix our problem since we leave Monday!
Yeah, this issue just cropped up this morning and they're trying to fix it so that all of the rest of you don't have to do what we have to do...
Oh, that stinks. good luck getting it done and getting it out soon. Do they think it will change your court date?
